Port Adelaide Competition Nov 2011
This year WAKEboardSA has really stepped it up, the events are bigger, bolder than ever, the support from all the sponsors, WBSA management committee plus the all important supporters & members are leading to one of the biggest years to date.
Focusing our attention on the up ‘n’ coming superstars of tomorrow has seen a significant increase in the Rookies and Straight Air categories proving that the NEW division system is a real winner. With a family friendly environment focusing on the needs of the children with the introduction of the WBSA jumping castle affectionately named “NEMO” keeps the littlies occupied under adult supervision. This year with the help of Wayne from Gant & Sons we setup a 36t Gigantic Crane with a massive 30m extension boom putting all the budding Photographers right in the middle of the action.
With Mastercraft boats pulling the competition at the Port this year hosted by charismatic Ralph Tonkin was an awesome combination, after a short period the weather really came out in all its glory – helping to make one of the most memorable events to date.
