- Advanced -

All Tricks allowed from Rookie to Advanced Divisions. This is for the riders who are keen to have some fun with friends on the water and enjoy the competition day!

- Adaptive -
A new division for the 2018/19 season, the adaptive division allows those wheelchair bound, amputee, visually impaired and such to compete for the title!

- Note -

WILDCARD TRICK - This can only be performed at the end of your 2nd pass.  Should you throw any other tricks after your wildcard they are not counted. If you throw a wildcard trick during first pass - it is not counted.  You can throw your wildcard trick in both heat and final runs.

If riders land wildcard trick in their competition run at numerous rounds, they are highly encouraged to progress their riding and move to next division at the next round to further grow as a competitor and be able to put together a competitive pass that will better improve their competition riding.

However it is not a rule that a rider must move, they are able to ride the same division as long as adhering to division rules.

Judging Information

How Wakeboard Judging works:

The judges score on 3 categories Execution, Intensity and Composition

Execution - How well you perform the trick and how clean it is. E.g You must grab the board not slap it. Do you case the wake or clear it easily? Casing the wake (landing on the top of the second wake) is not scored as highly.

Intensity – It’s all about how big you take your tricks. The bigger, the better. Are your tricks completed clean and flowing or fast and messy. Are you casing the wake or landing into the flats?  By putting a clean flowing run together, the judges score this highly.

Composition – How your competition pass flows. Heel side and Toe side being used equally. A repeated trick will not be scored.
**Tip: Do not repeat grabs. Grab differently each time. If you can do a 180 1 wake, it's better than not doing it at all!
